Houstonians celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Appolo Moon landing .

Mayor Sylvester Tuner of Houston addressed Houstonians on Saturday the 7/20/2019 at the Discovery green grounds in front of the Houston convention center during celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Appolo Moon landing .
He said America was the first to land a man on the moon and is preparing to return to the moon and to Mars .
He thanked all the military persons who were present for the event .
It should be recalled that late president Kennedy , in speech in Rice university gave the charge for America to land a man in the moon .
America kept to it,s charge and promise by doping so . The first greetings from the moon immediately after the landing was sent and gotten in Houston , It said Houston the Eagle has landed .
It was a little step for a man and giant leap for mankind Amstrong said .
The are many scientific breakthroughs which benefit the world because of the space exploration many of which are used in medicine and and other industries .
