Mayor Turner announces "Celebration of Life" honoring former City Secretary Anna Russell
The lights of Houston City Hall and the Montrose
Bridges will be lit blue Tuesday evening, February 11, (tomorrow) in memory of Anna Russell. Tuesday morning, Mayor Sylvester Turner will join Russell's family, friends, elected officials, and community leaders for “A Tribute To Anna.” Ms. Russell died Monday at the age of 88, after serving the city of Houston for nearly 70 years and working with nine mayors.

The Mayor's Office of Special Events (MOSE) is working with the Russell family to plan the tribute.
