Proposal for supplementary agenda item The Director-General has the honor to refer to a proposal received from Belize dated 7 April 2021, the Kingdom of Eswatini dated 7 April 2021, Guatemala dated 27 April 2021, the Republic of Haiti dated 5 May 2021, the Republic of Honduras dated 13 April 2021, the Republic of Marshall Islands dated 5 April 2021, the Republic of Nauru dated 22 April 2021, the Republic of Nicaragua dated 21 April 2021, the Republic of Palau dated 7 April 2021, Saint Kitts and Nevis dated 23 April 2021, Saint Lucia dated 7 April 2021, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines dated 12 May 2021 and Tuvalu dated 30 March 2021 for a supplementary agenda item, “Inviting Taiwan to participate in the World Health Assembly as an observer”.1,2 In accordance with Rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Health Assembly, this proposal for a supplementary agenda item is submitted to the General Committee for its consideration. Supplementary documentation accompanying this proposal will be distributed if a corresponding agenda item is added by the Health Assembly.
